Night wonderer
As the night silence settles,
And everyone heads to bed,
Leaving my den-
Walking…
Beaneth the starry sky,
Down a quiet street,
Heading towards the lights-
Walking…
Eyes adjusting to darkness,
Comfortably stepping yesterday’s route,
The calmness of the black and white night-
Walking…
The noise starting to reach me,
That of night wonderers like me,
From all the corners of the night,
Attracted to this center of light-
All walking…
Slowly entering the globe,
Colour returning to the world,
Drenched in light-
Still walking…
Suddenly surrounded by darkness once more,
Screams deafening my ears,
Panic!!
Still…
Returning to the colourless night
searching…
Gone is the globe of light,
Turning back-
Walking…
