My Dearest Cigar Smoker by ~Nurzy:iconNurzy:

My Dearest Cigar Smoker.

You sit back,
Inhale…
Hold it for a moment,
And slowly let it escape…

A wonderful way to corrupt your lungs.

It is your right to destroy them,
But a privilege to get someone else’s
When yours give up on you_

When I ask you to quit smoking,
I’m your conscience,
“at least I have a beautiful one” you say
Only for part of the day
"An important part of my day…"

I don’t want to loose you,
I’ve had enough pain…
“I’ll never leave my princess” you tell me
but you can’t choose that…
just don’t make it a cigar
please don’t make it that cigar…
which takes you away….

Author's Comments

When I had asked him to quit smoking those Cuban cigars, he called me his conscience (he is a company smoker…one with style…hehehe…;). But when we are just talking and messing, he calls me his princess :blushes:

Anyway, this poem has a few of my blushing moments….;P.

As night comes,
You leave me…
Your sister wants to rest.
Taken to dream world
By my Angel…
